What does a hero appear to be? In comedian books, they put on a masks or a cape. In actual life, they’re not really easy to identify.
Like William Crawford. For years, he labored as a janitor on the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. To the cadets, he was a shy, unassuming employee who quietly went about his cleansing duties across the squadron. But someday, a cadet who was finding out World War II learn an unbelievable story a few soldier who risked his life in battle to save lots of dozens of fellow troopers. The man later spent 19 months as a German prisoner of struggle and was awarded the Medal of Honor, our nation’s highest navy honor, for his sacrifice.
