Ukraine Replaces the Soviet Symbol on the Motherland Monument

Ukraine has changed the Soviet emblem on one in every of Kyiv’s most outstanding monuments with its personal coat of arms, a part of a broader push since the full-scale invasion to stamp out tributes to Russian energy.

Workers in Kyiv started eradicating the Soviet emblem from the defend of the monument late final month. On Sunday, the Ukrainian trident was mounted to exchange it.
