Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education has been implementing the Central Sector Interest Subsidy (CSIS) Scheme since 2009. Under this Scheme Interest Subsidy is given in the course of the moratorium interval i.e., Course interval plus one 12 months on Education Loan taken from the Scheduled Banks below the Model Education Loan Scheme of Indian Banks Association to college students belonging to economically weaker sections whose annual parental revenue is as much as Rs. 4.5 Lakh from all sources. The subsidy is allowed for pursuing greater schooling in skilled/ technical programs solely from NAAC accredited Institutions or skilled/ technical programmes accredited by NBA or Institutions of National Importance or Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs)

Eligibility for Interest Subsidy :-

The curiosity subsidy below the scheme shall be out there to the eligible college students solely as soon as both for the primary undergraduate diploma course or the publish graduate diploma/diploma in India. Interest subsidy shall nevertheless, be admissible for built-in programs (graduate plus postgraduate).
