Prime Minister urges health unions to rethink industrial action

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has known as for health unions to rethink industrial action this week.
Nurses are occurring strike tomorrow, and ambulance employees stroll out on Wednesday.
Mr Sunak mentioned: “Well, I’m actually disenchanted to see that the unions are calling these strikes, significantly at Christmas, significantly when it has such an impression on folks’s day-to-day lives with the disruption it causes and the impression on their health.
“And I urge them to keep considering whether these strikes are really necessary and do everything they can to alleviate the impact that’s going to have on people and of course, the government, for its part, is being responsible in putting in place contingency measures to make sure we’re well-prepared to handle the disruption that.”
